Welcome to Dr. Gang Li's research group. Our research focuses on developing computational analysis approaches that integrate efficient computational methods with novel modeling and analysis techniques for modeling, simulation and optimization of multiscale multiphysics materials and systems. Specific research topics include micro-electromechanical and nano-electromechanical systems (MEMS & NEMS), thermomechanics of nano structures and materials, strain effects on the thermal and electrical transport in nano materials, computational analysis of nanostructured and composite materials, and developing efficient numerical methods and multiscale computational approaches for solving multiscale and multiphysics engineering problems.
